Synopsis
Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn made one of the most unlikely friendships: a lost jaguar cub named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope for the unknown of New York, she dreams for years of returning to the rainforest and her friend. At 14, accustomed to city life, Autumn learns that her childhood town is threatened by animal traffickers and decides she must return to the Amazon with her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards), Autumn’s charming but clumsy biology teacher, tries unsuccessfully to dissuade her from this ill-advised plan. Together with Anja, Autumn embarks on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who seek to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
